Saludos From The Island Of Enchatment Happy Spring Time for you all. The Moon of March got really active and the bite went hot. Although we only saw one billfish ( White marlin), the mahi mahi bite got rally active and still is as we speak. The mahi mahi were running west on the trench feeding on Flyingfish, forming feeding frenzees with boobies and frigates (tijeretas). Most mahis average weights 20-25# on cows and bulls 35-40#. Also the wahoo bite was active, getting active strikes mostly on the down riggers running ballyhoo rigs on wire.
