First Fish of the Season Boston Harbor
Boston Harbor, massachusetts

May 03, 2010
Nervous Water was splashed yesterday. What a beautiful first day of the season. Not only was the weather perfect, but I caught the first striper of the season!! I launched at dead low in Weymouth and made my way back to Boston. As I came out of the channel, I saw a several birds working the surface. As I made my way over there, I saw what I had been dreaming about all winter. Nice sized stripers crashing bait all around! Although I had not brought a rod, I was able to find a old one in the forward hold and one lure. First cast, I hooked my first striper of the season! It is great to see the fish already here. This is the first year I have seen fish in these numbers here so early. What a great start to the season! I am looking forward to a terrific 2010 season. The fish are here so book your charter today!
