The weather is improving and our fishing will improve with it. It has been windy and chilly by our standards but we have warm sunny weather this week and I am going fishing. I'll look for pompano and see what we find. Some should be inside and the larger schools should be around the passes. Trout opens back up on the First but we may play with some in our scouting. Red fishing is available and they are beautiful this time of the year. The colors are brilliant gold to bronze and most even have that blue trailing edge on their tails now. We are looking for cobia and tripletail now also. They both hang out on crab trap buoys. Both eat lures and flies so it's worth the time to look for em.
