Mid Winter Steelhead Fishing

Salmon River

The winter Steelhead fishing on the Salmon River in upstate New York has been very good so far. Many anglers are reporting success on a daily basis. While many different techniques are working, I would say that Float fishing with 8-10mm Trout Beads, or blue or pink egg sacs has been the most produtive and consistent over the winter. The snow is piling up and its tough walking the river banks. Give me a call and we can schedule a drift boat trip, the boat gives you a look at alot more river and its heated. www.redlinesportfishing.com
