Wow, wore my shorts for the first time during an outing this last week and it felt great.. Warm weather, Spanish Mackrel jumping yards away from the boat and a consistent bite on most every cast. An old friend of mine whom produces hand carved lures here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast once told me "So much water, So little time and So many lures" holds true and stays in my mind during most each and ever trip I make. Here lately concentrations of a good variety of species have been found at most every stop and with the price of gas these days the stops have been close to the home base. That is fine as long as the fish are biting. Started seeing good schools of feeding Spanish Mackerel on a recent outing which tells me that the migration back to local waters is in full swing with our transient species which depart our local waters during our winter months. Cannot wait to start landing some nice trophy Speckled Trout with customers aboard the charter boat IMPULSIVE.. Good Fishing to all..
