Back Bay of Biloxi Delivers Windy Day Bite!

Photo by Capt. Robert L. Brodie Had Dr. Roger Labonte from Georgia aboard, and this would be catch and release since he didn't have a way to keep any fish. Brodie Winds shifted later in the day, and we made it out to a near shore oyster reef, and there Roger got into a good white trout and ground mullet bite. The bite really turned on, and it was soon a fish on every cast. On live shrimp and a bottom rig it was game on, and we left the fish biting like crazy. Brought in 20 or so for my supper, and let me tell you they were delicious. Scaled, filleted, and removed the rib cage leaving boneless fillets for the frying pan. By the way, I roll the fillets in yellow mustard coating them lightly, then roll them in Zatarain's Fish-Fri, and the toss them into hot grease frying them golden brown. {%image_id=14424%} ABOVE: From here on out big catches of the delicious white trout and ground mullet will be a common occurence here in the fish filled waters of south Mississippi. Brodie Soon our inshore reefs will be loaded up with the tasty white trout and ground mullet, and it will be some of the most enjoyable light tackle fun around. No finess casting is needed, and the bite can literally be non stop at times. From the looks of things a week or two of warm weather will have the fishing really hot here in south Mississippi, so be sure to book your fishing trip aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS well in advace.
