Biloxi, Misssippi Fishing - White Trout, Tripletail & Flounder

On Saturday my clients were a wonderful family group consisting of Susan McLauchlin, Dustin McLauchlin, Jeff McLauchlin, and Daniel McLauchlin. {%image_id=9364%} ABOVE: Tripletai provide excithing sight fishing action, and are now moving into the Mississippi Sound with a big influx of sargassum grass. Brodie With Dustin being 3-year of age, and the winds blowing pretty good, well, I opted to fish in close today. Robert L. Brodie. Photo by Capt. Robert L. Brodie However, my group fished hard, and in the end were rewarded with a fine catch of delicious fish. Moved about a bit to find the tasty bottom dwellers, but the last stop resulted in a good catch of the big "yellow mouth" white trout, and the anglers easily boxed 60 nice fish. Photo by Capt. Robert L. Brodie Young Dustin caught a 12.5 inch flounder too, and he was so excited. It's so enjoyable to see young anglers have a great time! Photo by Capt. Robert L. Brodie Hey, a tripletail a.k.a. "blackfish" is always a great bonus catch, and that was the first tripletail of 2009 put aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS. By the way, these fish are moving in, and I need a couple of hard core anglers to book all day trips in search of these mysterous and delicious fish. Anyway, on this short trip their final tally was 60 plump white trout and ground mullet, 1 12.5 inch flounder, and a 4.5 pound tripletail. Not a bad little catch for another day of wind and turbid water. Hopefull this weather will straighten out soon. Right now I am booked Wednesday and Saturday, and hope to get back to the barrier islands in search of more redfish and Florida pompano. Until next report keep it safe out there and good fishing.
