Saturday, April 4, 2009 Today I had come back clients Richard Murphy, his girlfriend April, and Andy Sander aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS. {%image_id=8801%} Richard Murphy with his big Back Bay of Biloxi black drum caught aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS. And yes...we had to face more high winds and muddy water! Well, had to find a bit of relief from wind and turbid waters, and so we ended up at the Gulf Park Estates Reef. There, a good bite ensured using Old BaySide X-Treme Popping Corks, and for a while until it got to rough to fish they hammered the white trout. {%image_id=8800%} Richard Murphy, his girlfriend April, and Andy Sanders with a fine catch of white trout and black drum they caught aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS. Move back inshore to the Ocean Springs Harbor Reef, and some nice fish were caught there too. Most of these were on bottom rigs. Move back into the Back Bay of Biloxi to try the black drum, and there they landed 7 nice drum, one a monster in the 40-pound class. At the mouth of the bay it was nearly 3-foot seas before we called it quits, but in all it was a good outing boxing 50 nice white trout, and 7 black drum. {%image_id=8799%} Richard Murphy with his fine black drum caught aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS. Can't wait for this weather to finally settle, and then see just how good the fishing really can be in this small part of south Mississippi. Until next report keep it safe out there, and be sure to book your own personal fishing adventure aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS. Regards, Capt. Robert L.
