Water Level – 652.5 and dropping Water Temp – 86 degrees Water is Clear to Stained Black Bass – Good on top water in the early mornings and evenings. Good on plastic worms and tube baits in 10′ to 20′ off of points, rock bluffs and deep cuts in the sand flats. Good on football jigs in 12′ to 20′ on deep drops. Also seeing some good numbers of Bass being caught on Carolina Rigs with a 10″ Plum Worm or Brush Hog. Walleye – Fair on bottom bouncing night crawlers over sand flats. Also fair on medium to large crank baits with the boat positioned in about 15′ to 30′ of water. Chrome and Purlpe colors seem to be producing the best. Crappie – Fair to Slow on live minnows over stumps and brush piles. Look for Crappie to go deeper with the water level dropping over some of the deeper brush piles. 15′ to 20′ foot range.

Tight Lines,

Capt. Don Schnable
