I had an amazing time fishing with my family and managed to catch my first ever permit and it was on a fly! I hooked that permit on my FIRST EVER CAST fishing the flats while using 8lb tippet. 3.5 hours and about a mile of chasing it later I had my first permit... Can't wait to come back to Pesca Maya!
