Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Week Ending 7/15/07 Great weather this week with a lot of Striped Bass caught on each trip. Also had a couple of lost hooks to small bluefish, their teeth are sharp, and a few in the boat if the circle hook was lodged just right in the corner of their mouths. We caught a few keepers this week as well but certainly saw our share of "just unders" this week. Live bait has been difficult to catch, and has actually been more difficult to locate than the stripers. Using cut bait as we do, not a lot of time is lost before we are into the fish. tight lines.
