Striper fishing was really good this week in the Piscataqua River. We caught a number of keeper stripers (over 28") as well as a 36" fish caught by Jon Newman. I did get a couple of storms this week and one large one, with hail, required me to wait it out for an hour under the big tent at the marina. After the storm passed the skies were blue and the fishing was as good as ever. Saturday's trip was under a bit of light rain, but the hardy Ahern family caught fish and had a great time despite the weather. A great week with some really nice clients. Tight lines Capt.
