Hello Everyone, Fishing has been good, great at times. Now the river flow is around 500 cfs. river clarity is 6-7 feet. Cream midge larva and small 24-26 black midge pupas am. A decent beatis hatch early pm. Then midge emergers, adults late afternoon. Dry fly action at times, mostly terrestrials or midges. The Beatis are really slow showing up this year. Fishing has been slow in the morning, picking up in the early afternoon. The fall colors have started but not peaked yet, the salmon snaggers are here in force, to mark the official start of fall on the San Juan river CATCH & RELEASE fishing has been good with lots of big fish being caught regularly. Good dry fly action most afternoons.
