Black Drum Biting in Southport,nc

{%image_id=47977%}Had a 1 / 2 day backwater trip this morning with Joe and Patty LaFave from Woodleaf and Oak Island, NC. Caught quite a few small Black Drum but did get 4 good ones for dinner this evening. Also, I showed them how to catch a dozen keeper size blue crabs, then taught Joe how to clean them so when steamed they won't be messy to eat. Great morning fishing with 2 very wonderful people!!! Offshore tomorrow if winds and seas calm!!!
