Spring Fishing Firing Up!

Hi Folks Spring has sprung and the fishing is responding very nicely. Water temps continue to rise and attract nice fish catches. May will be soon upon us so hold on! Now here is my report: Inshore: Catches of red drum and some black drum have been reported. Trout in the Cape Fear are biting your favorite artificial. Small flounder are starting to show. Near Shore: A good bonito bite is happening. Offshore: King mackerel are moving closer and closer. Gulf Stream: The wahoo bite continues. Blackfin and some yellowfin tuna are mixed in the bite. Cape Fear River: Trout, reds and whiting are biting. Upcoming: Look for more and more consistent action as we move into May. The Spanish will be coming and the kings will be arriving.
