captain mike 910-619-8509 the wind is a friend again today,i was gettin a little bored with the red and trout scene and headed to the river to try our luck at some stripers downtown.the wind had a strong current blowin into the docks at the hilton.16 ft clowns runing back on braided line,the first troll produced 4 fish 8-12lbs,i was getting tired of fighting the wind ,so we hit my fav. creek.it was perfect to fish there out of the wind.we made 10 or so trolls and hooked up on 9 more stripers with one of them a little over 20lbs.by this time the tide was falling and hit a trout hole near the brunswick river.rats,rats rats.no trout over 15 in. but alot of them.
