The Susquehanna is absolutely loaded with Crayfish and the Smallmouth have all the slow moving protein rich food they need, in the millions of Crayfish that grace the bottom right now. I would strongly suggest you wait till July to hit the Susquehanna River if you want to have a good day for Smallmouth. The Susquehanna River Catfish bite on the other hand is very strong.
