The past week has been hot and on Independence Day it was a hot 95 degrees and the smallmouth and carp have been found all over the river scattered about with several nice sized summer smallies making it to the boat. If you know where to find them you can catch several in certain areas. As the weeks progress more and more will be coming to the boat providing acrobatic jumps and rod bending action.
