Blue Marlin September 1 Joel Wilbur headed offshore with Captain Franklin on the last day of the season before pulling the boat for Maintenance. After an action packed day we may have to reconsider pulling the boat just yet. The fleet here in Quepos is mostly out of the water for bottom paint etc. but this crew has been fishing every day continuing to bring home the reports. They headed out to the 26 where they spent a good portion of the the morning with 16 Amberjacks and finished off the day with a 450+ Lb. Blue Marlin. Well folks that is the wrap for this crew for the season, some quick maintenance and it will be back in the water along with what we are anticipating to be the Top Crew in Quepos with the blessing of the fleet with the Mad Marlin in Quepos again boasting Quepos Top Crew for the 2010/2011 season {%image_id=16636%} August 31 Jeff Harenza who follows our Cyber Angler Reports headed offshore and the bite was definitely slower today than days past but he got a nice Mahi. Hoping he will consider another day maybe for the inshore bite which has been producing some giant Roosters!
