CANYON LAKE Water clear; 62 degrees; 912': Largemouth are good in the mouth of feeder creeks along buck brush in 4'-8' of water pitching a smoke 4" Super Tube Heavy, 4" watermelon Disc Worms and shallow running Wee R's. Try working ledges in 8'-14' with a 1/8 oz. watermelon Terminator Finesse Jig with Disc Craw trailers, purple 4" Disc Worms and slowrolling a 1/2 oz. silver shad Terminator Heavy spinnerbait through tops of submerged trees. SMALLMOUTH are holding over rock piles on breaklines of gravel flats in creeks. A smoke/blue 3" Super Tube, smoke/blue twin tail grubs and Disc Craw worms on Texas rigs will produce. STRIPERS are very good in schooling action at mid lake over 40'-50' humps using 1/2 oz. Pirk Minnows, Berkley Topwater Walkers, 3" plastic shads and freeling or drifting big live minnows. LAKE LBJ Water murky mid &lower end; 60 degrees; 824.97' We've been taking our best fish from what little stained water we can find because most of the lake is still very murky. Try pitching a blue fleck or red shad 7" worm, neon Scremer worm or 4" watermelon Super Tube Heavy to docks and laydowns in 5'-10' of water. Bass are holding on rocky points where a pearl or crawfish Wee R will work.
