LARGEMOUTH are roaming along any clear water flats inside of the mudline in pockets and creeks. Work 2'-8' depths with a white Shootin' Shad plastic jerkbait, motor oil/red flake Creme Scoundrel worm or green/blue 1/8 or 1/4 oz. Terminator spinnerbait. No need to "run & gun" the entire lake. Fish these pockets as well as rock points with baby bass 1/4 oz. Rat-L-Traps and motor oil Creme Scremer worms. STRIPERS are working shad under birds in 12'-20' over humps and recently submerged humps. Drifting live bait or trolling bucktail jigs are the best bet, but be prepared for surface action at any time. The Corps of Engineers have all of the baot ramps in their parks closed, but there are other ramps available.
