Last weeks fishing has been good most days. The water temperature has climbed to 90 degrees in the bays of Matlacha shutting down the bite until it rains or clouds cool things off. Redfish have cooperated most days but not all. The fish have liked a little breeze or some cloud cover to get comfortable and eat. I have spent a little time fishing for reds and shark with success on one or the other. Time to take the kids fishing before the school bus returns.
