The weather has started to turn the water warm and fish like it!. Sanibel and Captiva Islands will soon see migrating Tarpon visit the beaches and bay. Last Thursday I fished a half day before a late season cold front with my brother from Atlanta. We struggled to find a day that wasn't raining and settled on Thursday. As clouds approached we caught a few ladyfish for bait, and saw a couple blowups. I was hoping they were Tarpon.{%image_id=32495%} 10 minutes after deploying the first bait we were on!. 30 minutes, 5 jumps she was released.{%image_id=32496%} Then we went for Redfish, releasing a nice 28" fish.{%image_id=32497%} We had already caught Tarpon, Trout, and Redfish. Tried for snook, but the rain drove us back to the dock. Grand Slam next time. Great day !. Captain Dave. 239-410-7194
