We had aaron and his buddies out for their first Shark trip ever. we had light N/W winds heading out. We ran to 30 fathoms out of Moriches. We found clean 58 degree water. an hour after we set up we started getting hits from hungry Blue Sharks. We had nonstop action for several hours. The guys had a blast fighting the 100-150 lb. sharks. They said it was a big difference compared to Largemouth bass fishing! safe to say they are hooked. We tagged and released 6 blue sharks then we headed in and I found a pod of birds working an area in 25 fathoms. Fish were breaking the surface. it was Bluefin tuna! they were crashing pods of sandeels. We tried jigging them but they were moving too fast. Nice to see this early in the season! P.S. We have openings in June for Tournaments and regular Charters if you want to get in on this action. Tight Lines! Capt.Dennis FAIR CHASE II D.C. OUTDOOR ADVENTURES inc. WWW.HUNTFISHNY.COM 631-786-7871
