Excellent light tackle bite in the Lowcountry

My last few trips have been really good for mixed bags and lots of bites and pulls. We are currently catching some nice big Redfish on the flats up to 32 inches, with lots of under the slot fish in the creek mouths. And a few real nice roe trout are still showing on current lines around oyster mounds. Throw in lots of ladyfish, jack crevalle, blacktip sharks and bonnetheads, and bites are pretty darn easy to come by in the sound and rivers right now. The estuary is full of shrimp, mullet, and menhaden and the fish are starting to fatten up on the easy pickings. Better come get a pull in South Carolina's lowcountry.
