Great bite in the Lowcountry
Beaufort, south-carolina
Rick Percy
October 14, 2013
Have had a simply great last two weeks. Every trip has just been super. And have been doing a lot of different things. Had several trips nearshore on reefs and wrecks, and caught a real mix of species. Absolutely hammered the Spanish Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, and Bluefish. Throw in Black sea bass, Weakfish, Flounder, and a couple of others, and the bite has been sensational. Inshore we are catching Bull Redfish to 30 pounds in the Port Royal Sound, slot Reds on the flats, and had some beautiful Speckled trout yesterday. Its awfully hard to beat Fall and early Winter in the Beaufort area. Bites, bites, and more bites are the norm. And the weather and scenery are normally just perfect. Give it a try.
Tight Lines,
Capt. Rick Percy
