Inshore bite picks up

{%image_id=43818%}Fished 7 of the last 8 days, and concentrated on the inside Redfish and Seatrout bite. As our estuary is chocked full of both shrimp and mullet, the bite is starting to turn on. Had a number of good days catching seatrout on live shrimp under popping corks. Also caught a number of nice Redfish, up to 14 pounds, using cut mullet on a bottom knocker rig. I expect this bite to continue now all the way through late fall. It looks like we might have a banner Trout year. Numbers are good and the fish will size up as we go.Looking forward to a great fall.
