Lowcountry Trout Turn On

Have had several trips lately where I pretty much targeted Seatrout. And they have paid off. Not only are we seeing pretty good numbers, but the quality fish we are catching are really surprising for this time of year. We are using live shrimp under a Mid Coast popping cork, called the Evolution. I really like the way they cast and pop. And even better is putting a Vudu Shrimp, in pearl or chartreuse, on 24 inches of leader under the cork. They trout will smack it. Work the rips and current lines, especially on a flooding tide.
