Redfish bite steady in Port Royal sound
Beaufort, south-carolina
Rick Percy
October 27, 2011
The Redfish bite has continued to be fair in the Port Royal Sound area, as we have had some very big tides this week and that really scatters the fish in the grass on High Tide. The bull Redfish seem to be moving out towards the ocean again, as they will be leaving the Sound totally in a week or so. They are hitting crab, mullet and menhaden. The trout bite should turn on next week with cooler temperatures and moderate tides. Live shrimp are always a good bet.
Tight Lines,
Capt. Rick Percy
