The Speckled Trout are beginning to show up in good numbers in the creeks and rivers pouring in to Port Royal Sound. Had a trip today and put 33 in the boat, all released. Most of them are just under the 14 inch minimum slot, but are gorging on shrimp and mullet and should be in the slot by November. We used live shrimp today and left them biting to find some Redfish. Our Ladyfish numbers are the highest I have seen in years and lots of fun to catch on light tackle. Our inshore fishing in the Broad River and Beaufort Rivers should be great the rest of the year.

Tight Lines,

Capt. Rick Percy
