The catfish at Santee Cooper really go to feeding heavy this time of year. We have been averaging 400+ lbs a day on Catfish. We have been under a extreme draught for 2 years until now. We are finally back to normal pool for this time of year. If the rain keeps up we are looking at a Fantastic rest of the Winter Fishing and then and excellent springtime shallow bite. I filmed another TV Show Monday that will be a blowout. The first 5 fish we caught was from 20-44 lb blue catfish. We caught 7 over 20+ lbs on film and caught a total of 289 lb on film.
