The flats are alive! Been fishing for trout in 5-6' over grass using white soft plastics on 1/8th oz jigs. (gulp or doa paddle tails mostly) A lot of the 14.5 inchers but there's decent fish out there. Getting quite a few mackerel doing this as well and my jig supply shows it! Getting some solid reds back in the mangroves fishing cut ladyfish. They've been a bit spooky so we've been doing the bait and wait. Got out for sheepshead a couple of times and boxed some nice ones. Probably get another week or two for them.
