Today I had Mike, Glenn and Turner on the boat. I couldn't have asked for a better day for fishing or better clients they did great and the fish were hitting hard. We started early outgoing tide in the St Simons Island sound caught a couple of nice trout in 3-6 ft of water along the marsh grass and oyster beds. After that bite slowed down in the sound we moved back in the rivers and caught 10 or so keeper trout releasing 4 trout over 18 inches all of those fish were in 8ft of water. There was only one redfish caught but we left the trout biting to go and hunt for triple tail off the beach of Jekyll Island. Once out off the beach is was flat calm, we ended up seeing 6 triple tail only catching one we only had an hour to fish for triple tail and they were sitting right under the water kind of hard to see untill you got right on top of them. All in all it was a great morning Turner did a great job and showed us older guys how to fish. See more fishing reports at www.reelstokedfishing.com
