Last week ended on a very slow note as far as the fishing is concern. This week it picked right up. The Stripers showed up in full force. They are sitting on pretty much every reef and rock pile. We have had to run to Branford to get them but it has been well worth it. The was been plenty of 20-30 pound fish and a few over 40 pounds caught. The Bait of choce has been Live bunker with fresh whole dead a very close second. The bunker schools have been getting alittle skinny. We have not seen any new schools move in and the ones that are in the Q river is showing signs of a die off.
