July 3. Fluke fishing was tough today because the wind was blowing against the tide and a good drift was hard to find. We made a dozen or so moves between the bay and ocean to scratch out a catch of keepers as well as many shorts, skates and dogfish. The Blues were working at the tip of the hook and provided some exciting fishing before we got mugged by about 20 or so boats who drove through the breaking fish. The seas were flat and the skies were without a cloud for a beautiful day on the water. Capt. Karl
