The offical start of summer is a few weeks away but as far as fishing goes around Anna Maria it is already here, Look for trout in deeper areas then they where just a few weeks ago. Also more fish will be found in the passes and on the beaches then in the backwater areas.{%image_id=26995%}{%image_id=26106%} Snook also will be heading for the passes and beaches and some of the best fishing for catch and release is just around the corner.{%image_id=26998%}{%image_id=26997%} Redfish are one fish that dose not seem to mind the heat of the shallows, The big schools have not started yet in our area but with a little work you can still catch a few. {%image_id=26996%} Tarpon are here in good numbers but west winds lately have made this fishery a little harder then usual.
