INSHORE REPORT {%image_id=24767%} Fishing on the flats is heating up nicely due to the uncommonly warm weather we have been having this winter. We have been doing well with the red fish every day. Sheepshead are filling the coolers and some nice flounder have been a daily event as well. Large black drum,"30-50Lbs", are showing up on the flats in the bay, these fish are hitting jigs, live shrimp and are loads of fun on light tackle. Be prepared for a good battle with these big fish, for the next month or so. Nice size trout have also been a pretty common occurrence on the grass flats. OFFSHORE REPORT {%image_id=24769%} Offshore we are catching loads of key west Grunts that are very good eat n. Nice hog fish have been finding there way into the boat on a regular basis and if you have never caught or eatn one of these fine fish your missing out. These fish eat better than grouper and are one of the most beautiful fish in the water. Would be keeper gag grouper are being caught on cut bait while bottom fishing. On our longer trips amber jack ,bonito and some king fish have been pretty common. So come on out and enjoy a great day on the water before it gets too hot. http://www.bassnbaycharters.com Thanks for stoping by: Capt. Brady Nelson
