CANYON LAKE Water clear; 61.5 degrees; 911': LARGEMOUTH are good on creek points in 6'-12' using a smoke 4" Super Tube Heavy, and gray/blue S&C "slidingweight" craw worm; 4" pumpkin/chartreuse Disc Worm. SMALLMOUTH are fair to good on breaklines of gravel points in 8'-14' on 3" smoke/red Super Tubes, smoke Devil's Tongues and 3/16 oz. Tiny-T jigs with pork trailers. The 3" version of the smoke "slidingweight" crawfish (www.slidingweight.com) is really producing quality smallies. STRIPERS are good to very good on the surface using Red Fins or Berkley walkers, jigging 1/2 oz. Pirk Minnows and casting white Curb's bucktail jigs or 3" plastic shads. LAKE LBJ Water murky to muddy; 60 degrees; 825': VERY FEW FISHERMEN OUT. LARGEMOUTH are fair upriver in stained water using a 1/4 oz. pumpkin/pepper Terminator Finesse Jig or 3" watermelon/red "slidingweight" crawfish (See: www.slidingweight.com) 7" blue fleck or red shad Power Worms. LAKE BUCHANAN Water clear, 60 degrees; 1014.75': LARGEMOUTH are good along channel breaklines and ledges slowrolling a white/chartreuse Jimmy Houston spinnerbait, pitching a smoke 4" Super Tube Heavy and crawling a smoke/blue 3" S&C craw worm (www.slidingweight.com). STRIPERS are good with limits drifting live shad, jigging Pirk Minnows or castin 3" Lit'l Fishie Shads.
