Galveston Bay Flounder Gigging

Gigging continues to be good in Galveston West Bay. The fish are holding on sand bottom near drains. The key is to find baitfish (mullet & mudfish) - the flounder wont be far away. {%image_id=31032%} We are anticipating a great February. This is usually when we will start seeing the beginning of the spring flounder run. Here on the Texas Coast, we are seeing some extreme mild temperatures for January.
