Galveston Fishing Report

{%image_id=41795%}We have had a nice warming trend this past week, and fishing and flounder gigging has been on fire here in Galveston Texas. We are finding our flounder along sandy bottoms and the key factor is the amount of baitfish in the area. These flounder are feeding on large finger mullet. Our best red fish bite has been in the same areas as our flounder success has taken place. Again, the key ingredient is the baitfish. We are catching our red fish on live finger mullet as well as live shrimp.{%image_id=41794%}{%image_id=41789%}{%image_id=41791%}
