Week ending April 1, 2018 After high winds and Cold Fronts last week the water temperature dropped again down 10 degrees but now is back up to 74.5 degrees and the bite is on. We landed many nice Sea Trout 18 to 21" On the Inter-coastal waterway break of the sandbar at Marker 54. The Big Pompano and Mackerel are prowling there too. We are still working the sandbar and grass flat edges where the structure starts to dive from 4.5'/ 5' to deeper channel waters. Using a 4' leader under a popping cork, ¼ oz. painted egg sinker covered in glitter over a Uni knot tied, Owner 4/0 J hook on 30 lb. mono leaders baited with a live shrimp. If you aren't catching at least 50 to 80 fish per day, try a Tide Walker Charters teaching charter. {%image_id=58678%}
