Tough Weather Week

Port St. Joe

After a week of rain and wind things finally cleared up on Saturday and allowed us to get in a half day trip. We still had to battle East winds of 15-20 knots and some cooler temps but we were able to find a lot of decent sized fish. We caught most of the trout about a mile North of Blacks Island in the deep water flats. They ran from 15-19". In addition to the trout we hooked into a nice red on the West side of the Island but lost him at the boat (probably around 7#) We also found a ton of bluefish and a few spanish in the channels. We could have caught them all day. If the wind hadn't been so bad they would have been a blast on the fly rod.{%image_id=25322%}{%image_id=25321%}{%image_id=25320%}{%image_id=25319%}{%image_id=25318%}{%image_id=25317%}
