The best bet for snook fishing in Port Orange is either around Dunlawton or past the railroad bridge in Spruce Creek. Finding deep water that also has shallow banks they can sun on is the key. Also, you'll find schools of blues and jacks have shown up in these same areas. The Tomoka River is also producing nice numbers. Most of the snook being caught here are back past I-95 and love moving water. Redfish are also schooling and active in both the Tomoka and Port Orange. Live shrimp is the bait of choice. Oh yeah, black drum action is still at Haulover.
